so 9 years ago, i married this cute young chick.
today she gave me an ipod nano.
those 9 years really paid off!

we are one giant leap closer to upgrading zulu, the server that zinkwazi, photothursday, codejanitor and about 21 other domains live on.
someone (thanks!) donated a dell poweredge 2650 dual 2.6ghz xeon server!
the catch? it needs ram and 3 more hard drives to complete the raid arrays.

here is a list of things that have made me happy this week (and it’s only tuesday!)

• breakfast with my wife (and kids) to celebrate her birthday.
• received a copy of the movie paris, texas (mind blowing aesthetics)
• sold 3 of my images (thanks matt steele!) which allowed me to…
• buy a 50mm f1.8 canon lens (my first lens purchase)
• got my second photofriday noteworthy nomination
• received my repaired ipod shuffle back from apple
• got a new computer to act as my home server and mythtv box
• learned what exactly an fstop is
• upgraded my server to plesk 7.5.4 (thanks to matt simonsen from srihosting!)

i modified my holga a bit so that i could run 35mm film through it. the effect is cool as the image bleeds across the sprocket holes…
i even managed to get a pretty decent panorama shot.
