Yacht carnage on Santa Barbara’s East Beach

At least 8 yachts lost their moorings and crashed onto East beach in the storms that are currently buffeting California.

    I watched a dumpster truck crunch a washing machine and dryer, console stereo/TV, and large dressers like paper mache last September…not unlike what you’ve captured here. Carnage in any form ain’t purty. — On a happier note, finally saw Invictus. Loved it! Great actors/acting, score, script, time in SA history. Great flick.

    These vessels were NOTon moorings, only at anchor, and they had a week forecast warning of this storm. Mother Nature is not forgiving and if you wait too long, the consequences are…..
