A huge bull hippo charges into the water after we came around a bend and exposed it grazing out of the water on a small island in the Zambezi river.
According to Wikipedia, the hippopotamus is the third-largest land mammal (up to 3 tonnes!), can easily outrun a person and is one of the most aggressive creatures in the world.
Hippos are one of the few animals that will fight to the death.
