i was realy struck by the far away look in this women's eyes.
a few minutes after i took this photo we made eye contact and chatted a bit.
(her daughter was with her and happens to be a great photographer...)
one of the benefits of taking up photography has been all the new friends that i have made.
on another note, ever since i watched steven spielberg's beautifully shot munich, i have developed an afinity for washed out images...
