toby, jarrett and i headed out this evening to get some shots of the lunar eclipse.
it was cloudy, freezing (probably 55; i had to wear a fleece) and super windy.
not a good combination for shooting the moon (windy = fuzzy images.)
it cleared up a bit and stopped blowing soon after i got back home which is when i took this (uncropped) shot.

  • Nice capture...but really 55 is freezing? I went out last night to look at the eclipse but the sub 20 degree temp with wind blew me back inside after only a couple of quick shots. I would have loved even 40 degrees for a longer stay.
