A Minotaur IV rocket launching from Vandenberg AFB with a military space surveillance satellite payload.
If you look about half way up the arc, you will see where stage 2 fired and took over.
Interesting to note that the flame color in stage 2 is different from the flame color of stage 1.

Gail, glad to see some of my old neighbors zooming in on these launches. I've tried to catch them from my old Mohave Valley house (behind Yoney's body shop) with little success. Unfortunately, I overlooked this one from my Nipomo home
