this cool old stone cross is up on the bluffs at devereaux point in goleta overlooking the channel islands.
interesting note (for pierre et al) is that this image was taken with the canon 5d but still has a fair amount of noise in the subtle blue sky transitions. i shoot in raw and can see the noise in the raw file. here is an example of this blue channel noise with a nikon d2x.
i guess i need to look into noise reducing software...
