Nice! I like the way the tailfin is so dominant that it makes the rest of the plane almost a sidenote. Jason @ 04:30pm December 27, 2005
Wow, I really like this composition. There's something about how the plane and sky contrast yet blend that really works for me. Aviation always amazes me... I can't believe that thing can fly in the sky - wow. Dan :: genestho.ca @ 06:59am December 28, 2005
Nice shot, like the way the grey sky and the aircraft complement each other. John @ 01:43am January 11, 2006
I hate to be a pain, but that doesn't look like a Lodestar. David @ 07:51pm May 21, 2007
The aircraft is a PV2 Harpoon, the detail is the upper turret faired over and the rectangular shape to the tail fin Paul @ 04:42pm November 20, 2007
It is indeed a PV2 Harpoon. The aircraft design was evolved from the Hudson/Lodestar family. Hence the confusion. This aircraft has been at its present location, Sonoma Valley Airport, since the late 1980s. Denis @ 12:32pm August 27, 2008
