i really like the depth of field you get at f/1.4

  • The noise in this picture gives it a special touch. A really warming picture. Very nice shot! The dof from your lens is also admirable.

  • Really nicely done. Love the 1.4. too (though I've only got the 1.8, it too serves me well) especially with a grainier finish like you have here. Man, I'm going to need a HUGE hard drive when I have kids... So many pictures will need to be had!

  • Incredible shot. One of my faves of the kids. The grain as others mentioned works well, but my favorite part is how the focus is on the hands giving it a real feeling of care.
