the ghost of rincon
NIKON D200
sec
f 22
17 mm
this was taken at rincon the same morning that i snapped the "yeti" shot
i was doing a long (25s) exposure of the pre-dawn ocean and freeway lights when this guy walked up and stopped right in the frame for about 10 seconds!
another interesting thing about the long exposure is that the waves were quite large but the ocean looks like a soft blur. i was stoked that it turned out as well as it did...

  • Very cool turn out. I can't believe people go out surfing pre-damn... I get jaws music playing in my head just thinking about it!

  • That is sweet. Totally dig the way he's semi-transparent.

  • Wow, how lucky is that? Well, I guess it would have been unlucky if you were really planning on something without a ghost surfer!
