we went wine tasting with the regesters this weekend and stopped to look at the ostriches near solvang.

I've never seen a smiling ostrich -- can't believe how close you got to him.

seems HE is the one LOOKing at you...and I am not sure that is a smile of happiness...I've seen them do that before attacking:)
