it’s a great first edition, i look forward to watching it grow.

i found this video of phoebe in the laundry basket that i took a couple of months ago…

this past weekend we drove up to onion valley in the sierras and hiked up to flower lake (10,531 ft) for a couple of epic days of snow camping.
here is a short video (11 MB) of me trudging along…

on thursday my entire department went to some off-site training for around 3 hours
we were doing our best to contribute to the cause…

we spent lots of time in the sun this weekend at the beach and pool, it was a great summers weekend!

some of the santa barbara photo geeks are getting together at half-past bloody-early (6:30 AM) on tuesday morning at the new starbucks on cota and state. if you happen to be in the area, please join in on the fun. basically, we just walk around taking pictures of things that catch our eye(s).
this week’s photo thursday challenge is “self portrait” so if i’m lucky i’ll get something useable on tuesday…

i have taken the plunge and converted my site over to wordpress…
the last time i did a major cms change was way back in 2002!
it was a lot easier to use wordpress than to write the whole thing myself
there is still more work to be done but it is close…
