several years after my brother anthony and i completed our coast to coast usa bike ride my dad sent me a newspaper clip of a ride he did in 1958 when he was 17.
my dad (william lawler, on the left) and his friend michael barton cycled from salisbury in rhodesia to the newly completed kariba dam which was about 240 miles away!
kim got me a cool radio controlled helicopter for father’s day…

only three kids showed up today for the final ballet class of the session.
it was fun nonetheless…
macey wrapped up her short ballet career (”ballet is too slow, i want to do gymnastics”) this weekend with a dress rehearsal on friday and performance on sunday.
