estwing hammer vs lexan

i created a game called “flinch” for the company picnic…
the game relied on the high tensile strength of 1/8″ polycarbonate (which looks like plexiglass but is much stronger.)
we started out with tennis balls but soon moved on to golf balls, a baseball, blocks of 2×4, a screwdriver and then finally, my 32 oz estwing framing hammer…
there were some fun “flinches” and reactions 🙂

  1. Always good to check back in to your site from time to time. I think the construction is top notch and definitely looks safe given the framing and sealing of the lexan material. Great idea. Wish I could easily make that setup for the next Environmental Health & SAFETY get together.

  2. Dude, that’s such a nutty cool game!

  3. impressive! and a bit nutty…
